Meet Sharaya

Sharaya brings warmth, curiosity, and a genuine interest in getting to know the person behind

the story. She cares deeply about creating a space where clients can be real, curious about

themselves, and known. She believes the therapeutic relationship itself is an important part of

the work.

Maybe you’re here because something feels hard, but you’re not quite sure how to put it into

words.

ï‚· You’re anxious, overwhelmed, or constantly overthinking.

ï‚· You care deeply for others, but struggle to know what you need.

ï‚· You’re tired of people-pleasing, saying yes when you mean no, or carrying everyone

else’s emotions.

ï‚· You’re navigating a transition, grief, trauma, or a season of feeling unlike yourself.

ï‚· You and your partner love each other, but keep getting stuck in the same patterns.

ï‚· You and a friend are going through a difficult season, and you’d both like support

repairing the friendship and finding your way back to each other.

You don’t have to have the right words before coming to counselling.

Sharaya believes being human is both painfully difficult and stunningly beautiful at the same

time. We can be hopeful and afraid, grateful and grieving, deeply connected and still hurt. She

creates space to slow down, feel understood, and make sense of what you’re experiencing.

Her approach is attachment-based, emotion-focused, and body-based. Sharaya loves helping

clients notice not only their thoughts and emotions, but also what is happening in their bodies.

She works with individuals 15+, couples, families, and friends. People of all faith backgrounds,

as well as those with no faith background, are welcome. Christian faith integration is available

for those who desire it.

Sharaya is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family

Therapy from Trinity Western University.

When Sharaya isn’t with clients, she enjoys cozying up with a book and a latte, playing card

games, and visiting the ocean.

She is currently accepting new clients for virtual and in-person sessions and would be happy to

meet you first through a free 15-minute discovery phone call.
