Meet Amy

Amy is a compassionate and insightful therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s complexities with a deeper sense of understanding and self-acceptance. With a focus on self-compassion, Amy supports clients who may feel overwhelmed by personal or relational challenges, including issues related to depression, anxiety, grief, loss, life transitions, stress, burnout, spirituality, work, and communication. Amy provides a safe space where clients can feel truly seen and understood, empowering them to develop a kinder relationship with themselves and enhance their emotional resilience.

Currently, Amy is in the process of obtaining her EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) training, a trauma-informed approach that focuses on altering the emotions, thoughts, or behaviors resulting from distressing experiences. EMDR therapy allows clients to engage in natural healing processes without the need to delve into detailed discussions of traumatic events. This approach recognizes the distinction between the brain—an organ of the body—and the mind, which encompasses thoughts, memories, beliefs, and experiences that define who we are. Through her diverse therapeutic techniques, Amy is committed to guiding clients toward greater joy and clarity in their lives.

Amy is available for in-person sessions in Fort Langley on Thursdays.
